![]() ![]() ini files and the game will still not work, so I rename the intro movie and disable optional downloads, while still not having put back my. I restarted and it still did not work, so I deleted the original_uisettings.ini file and that did not fix it (I tried that one as it happened earlier today, and EQ was perfectly fine after deleting that particular file, then it was okay for hours) and it still did not work. I was playing fine before work, then came home and watched a couple of things on my PC, then go to play EQ2 and it does this on an accidental windows key press. ![]() This seems to happen almost randomly now. *hopes the next update that has whatever fixes his problem is soon*įourth Edit: Okay, obviously not fixed. I can use the windows button, alt tab, everything. Second Edit: The game runs -perfectly- on Test. =/Įdit: Seems to just be eq2_default.ini, which means this is a bit less bothersome now as I don't have to setup a lot of things again. It'd be nice if I could find a fix as I'm pretty happy with the changes made to the game since I last played and would like to continue playing, but seeing as I am very prone to forget not to use other methods of windowing EQ2 I will most likely get a tad fed up at some point as having to reconfigure my settings after each delete does get a bit annoying. I have also followed the instructions here and reinstalled my chipset drivers, DirectX and graphics card, yet this problem still persists. ![]() I have reinstalled EQ2 as at one point even deleting the *.ini files did not let me get into the game via the launcher, although EverQuest2.exe worked for some reason though it acted the same as the launcher does now. After that happens I then cannot run the game again as it will crash shortly after clicking PLAY on the launcher window until I delete eq2_recent.ini and possibly eq2_default.ini as well, at which point the game will run perfectly fine again until a window pops up from an IM program or I alt tab by mistake or something. The reason I mention the change in account is because of DoF/adventure packs and them possibly being the cause as that is the only thing that has changed after having played over the weekend perfectly fine on the island (island on old account as well) for at least 20 hours and going into windowed mode at least a good 50 times while browsing the boards.Īnyway, this is the error I get: d:\live\framework\core\devices\src\DirectX9RenderDevice.cpp (4263): DirectX Error. >C:\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information\\setup.I started playing EQ2 again during the weekend on a trial account, which meant (I think) no adventure pack/DoF downloads and was able to run the game perfectly fine, even switching from fullscreen > windowed using the Windows key, alt tab, other program popups, etc, but I have now reactivated my old account and seem to have trouble with the game if I do anything other than alt enter. >C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\r1puninst.exe RealNetworks|RealPlayer|6.0 Info.txt logfile of random's system information tool 1.06 13:58:45 Now i cud run RSIT tool and the logs are as follows Hjsplit gets installed but doesnt run even in safe modeĮven did renaming the mbam files but no use I have scanned my pc (using Mcafee) but no viruses chkdsk /r doesnt get performed at restart com doesnt open!!! rest all sites work fineĦ. super anti spyware and malware bytes are not working (doesnt run even in safe mode)ĥ. I have monitored my cpu/gpu /hdd temperature, all seem normalģ. I tried repairing windows installation where i had an error " dsnpfd.sys" file missing but that i guess shouldnt be a problem I am facing problem with my windows which hangs at uneven intervals leaving me with no option but restart the system ![]()
